This morning flipping through my old Lutheran Book of Worship, I came across a hymn I don’t remember reading before.  It was interesting because it sums up a lot for me right now.

Title: “Lord, Receive this Company”
Text: Pierre Teilhard de Chardin 1881-1955; adapt George Utech, b. 1931

Lord, receive this company
As part of your creation
Here and now, at dawn and dusk,
We bring dead hopes and old dreams.
Lord, we are many,
And we would be one.
All, Lord, make us all
One under the Son.
